TreLupe is a B2B e-commerce platform specialized in wholesale distribution of premium Italian wines for the Danish market. The project was created to establish a direct digital channel between Italian wine producers and Danish professional buyers (restaurants, wine shops, retailers).
The platform stands out for its integration of an age verification systemcompliant with Danish legislation (18+) and a comprehensive database of 20+ custom metafields for each wine product, ensuring detailed information on vintage, grape varieties, vinification, tasting notes, and food pairings.
Built as a custom Shopify Liquid theme, the site optimizes the B2B shopping experience with dedicated features such as wholesale pricing, advanced AJAX cart management, and a complete analytics tracking system to monitor the sales funnel.

Each wine has 20+ custom metafields (namespace: custom) that include detailed information such as wine type, region, vintage, grape varieties, organic and biodynamic certifications, vinification, aging, tasting notes, and producer story. Data is displayed in a dynamic tab system that shows/hides tabs based on the presence of metafields.
Full-screen modal that blocks site access until legal age confirmation (18+)as required by Danish legislation on alcohol sales. The system uses cookies with 30-day duration and redirects to an informational page if declined.
Complete Google Tag Manager integration with tracked e-commerce events: view_item,add_to_cart, remove_from_cart, begin_checkout, add_payment_info, purchase. The dual setup (GTM in theme.liquid + Custom Web Pixel Shopify) ensures tracking across all pages including checkout and thank you page.
